Welcome to the Dancing Bear Sailing web site. The Dancing Bear sailing team transcends the boat the team may be sailing on at any given time, although the core team was established by racing the Omega 30, Dancing Bear for many years, successfully on the Chesapeake Bay.

At this time, the former owner of the Omega 30 Dancing Bear, Dave Sliom has been spending most of his time concentrating on Laser racing, particularly the Laser Masters circuit. While he is still spending much time on various sport boats, the Laser is definitely getting most of the attention.
